The driving force behind the Research & Development department at Se-cure is the aspiration to develop therapeutic solutions that stimulate targeted tissues with no, or, at most, a limited, effect on other tissues.

The highly qualified R&D team includes skilled researchers in the areas of biology, physiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, pharmacology, engineering and gynecology. This remarkable team, assisted by top academic researchers in their fields has proved its success in the development of the first product: Femarelle^® (generic name DT56a), a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator) for the management of menopause and bone health.

The R&D department is currently focusing its energy in expanding the scientific envelope of Femarelle^®; additional areas of focus:

Urology:

Prostate Treatment- Reducing the prostate volume to its original size in BPH stage, preventing urinary retention.

Dermatology:

Burns Treatment- Emergency IV treatment for the prevention of formation of stasis in severe burns.

Reconstruction Dentistry:

Guided Bone Regeneration- Regeneration of the jaw in the socket, the mandibular & the maxillar for dental implants.

Based on our R&D achievements, the medical management team, headed by Israel Yoles MD, Se-cure's medical director, oversees the pre-clinical and clinical trials.
